COWBEL governance structure

 COWBEL is a 501 c(3) not for profit group recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service. The core members of COWBEL utilize the collaborative distributed model of clinical education for the majority of students' veterinary clinical educational experience and learning.  The core members annually elect representatives to be COWBEL officers. The president, the president-elect, the immediate past-president and the chairs of the four standing committees (Academic, Accreditation, Partnership, Scholarship) oversee the operations of COWBEL following the groups Bylaws.

Accreditation Committee Chair: John Dascanio, Senior Associate Dean, Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine

Partnership Committee: Stanley Robertson, Associate Dean, Clinical Relations, University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine

Scholarship Committee Chair: Peter Cockroft Head of Education, University of Surrey

Faculty of core members and approved members from other institutions and partners may become committee members upon approval of the core members.
